In addition, Portland Pine stock a range of quality treated sleepers which offer the natural beauty and warmth of wood, coupled with strength and durability.
SHAVEN (PEELED)
Shaven product has a smooth finish with a slight taper, and is sorted and graded into numerous diameter ranges( eg 100-125mm) and length combinations. The nominated diameter range always applies to the small end diameter (SED). Shaven product is very versatile and can be used in a range of applications from farm fencing, stockyards to numerous landscaping projects like retaining walls, garden beds and borders and so on.

CAMBIO
Cambio product has a slight taper and has a rough finish and appearance as the original natural features of the tree like branch stubs are still visible giving cambio extra strength characteristics when compared to shaven product. Cambio product is used widely in vineyard and farm fencing applications and are available in the diameter and length combinations and pieces per bundle listed below.

POLES
Portland Pine Products has an extensive offering of both shaven and cambio poles which are all treated to H4 horticulture poles hazard level. Poles are available in lengths ranging from 4.2 metre, increasing in 0.6metre increments up to 7.8 metres long. It should be noted that poles have been visually graded for their appearance and not graded on structural properties.
Typical end use applications have included supports for protective canopies for hail and bird netting, shade cover and wind breaks.

SLEEPERS
Sleepers are a manufactured product, providing a uniform size with a fine sawn finish that can be utilized in a variety of landscape applications. Offering the natural beauty and warmth of wood, coupled with strength and durability, sleepers can be used for retaining walls, steps, paving and garden edging.
